Apprising Covid-19 Humanitarian Activities

  • Opened Help Desk for Covid-19 affected persons and families to help for registration for covid vaccine. The Desk also supported to give trauma counselling for Covid patients and family members. We have given counselling for 177 individuals and 52 families in Kottayam and 136 persons in Munnar region.
  • A painting Competition was held on Covid and Cancer.
  • We have given breakfast in the covid ward of Kottayam General hospital for 200 persons since two months.
  • Distributed Masks and IEC leaflets to 100 families around VSSS.
  • Distributed 5,750 Masks and 1,950 Litres of Hand Sanitizer.
  • Opened 10 Covid clinics in Nedumudi,Vaisyambhagom and vanavathukkara availing service service to check up people’s Oxygen and te,perature status and to give awareness on various aspects of Covid -19.
  • Foods kit worth Rs.42,22,170/-Distributed in Kottayam and Rs.2,00,000 in Munnar
  • Covid test and Vaccination camp conducted in VSSS office.
  • Vegetable Challenge (Promotion of Kitchen garden).
  • Food Kit Distribution for Auto Drivers and families near to central Office (One kit worth Rss-1000 to 1339 families).
  • Formation & Training of Vijay Samirattan Task Fourse.
  • Distribution of Nutrition kit (A kit worth Rs-1000/- for 2000 covid affected families Kanirappaly and kottayam Talukes).
  • Awareness building against covid-19 Third Wave.
  • Awareness building on Covid Appropriate Behaviour in School Children in school reopening time.
  • Distribution of safety materials likes Masks, sanitizer, leaflets...etc.
